UX & Product
Product design grounded in discovery, shaped by visual craft, and measured by what changes for people.
Selected work from my time at the University of Phoenix, where I partnered with product, engineering, research, and business teams to improve experiences across the prospect, student, and alumni journey.
Career Hub
Design lead · Product trio · Continuous discovery
Turning an inherited career-interest assessment into a connected system for career exploration and education planning.

The challenge
We began with a hypothesis that career exploration would help undecided prospects choose a degree. Customer interviews challenged that assumption and shifted our attention toward helping students understand career options, qualifications, and progression.
My contribution
I led design within a product trio, combining customer interviews, heuristic evaluation, interaction design, and iterative delivery. I helped establish an automated research-recruitment process, evolved assessment results and career filtering, and designed reusable career-detail templates connecting labor-market data with degree programs.
What changed
- Career Hub reached 30% of the student base within a year.
- More than 30 customer interviews informed the direction, supported by a sustained cadence of one to two interviews per week.
- The content architecture supported more than 300 dynamic career-detail pages.
- Iterations on results and career architecture increased engagement by 4–8% per iteration.
Phoenix.edu Homepage
UX and design leadership · Content architecture · Conversion
Making the primary prospect entry point clearer and more useful for an audience of more than one million monthly visitors.

The challenge
The homepage needed to support program exploration and conversion while balancing content clarity, accessibility, search visibility, and business priorities.
My contribution
I reworked the page’s modular structure and content priorities to help visitors find relevant next steps. The work involved aligning more than 12 stakeholders across product, engineering, SEO, accessibility, and leadership.
What changed
- Application completions increased by 3%.
- Visits to Program Finder increased by 10%.
- Request-for-information submissions increased by 2%.
- Bounce rate decreased by 6%, while scroll depth increased by 5%.
Alumni Ecosystem
UX design · Information architecture · Lifecycle experience
Connecting alumni with resources, community, and opportunities for continued learning.

The challenge
Alumni benefits and resources needed to be easier to discover, with an experience that connected the value of membership to different stages of an alumnus’s life and career.
My contribution
I designed a lifecycle-based information architecture that brought resources, community, and continued-education pathways into a more connected experience.
What changed
- Alumni engagement increased by 15%.
- Access to alumni resources improved by 8%.
- Alumni re-enrollments increased by 1.4%, alongside a 0.5% lift in new enrollment.
